24. Royal Palace of Brussels (SOLD OUT)

Replacing the earlier Court of the Dukes of Brabant, the impressive building that houses and embodies the Belgian monarchy has undergone several phases of construction and occupation. Successive periods of Austrian, French, Dutch and finally Belgian rule have each left their mark on the evolution of the spaces and the decoration of the rooms: the Vestibule, Anti-Chamber, Main Stairway, Empire Room, Throne Room, Mirror Room, Small and Large White Rooms, Pilaster Room, Marshals' Room, Thinker Room, etc.

Lasting 75 minutes, this exceptional guided tour offers a beautiful overview of the monumental work led by architect Alphonse Balat who is also responsible for the greenhouses of Laeken, formal and aesthetic modifications during different reigns, and the countless works of ancient and contemporary art along the route of the visit.

In accordance with palace tradition, the visit is free and open to all. However, places are nominative and non-transferable; visitors who have booked will need to present their identity card 15 minutes before the visit at the entrance located at 16, rue Brederode.
