The former head office of the Brunner Bank was originally a Neoclassical townhouse built in 1860. Around 1900, the building was acquired by the Brunner Bank, which commissioned architect Léon Govaerts to redesign the interior in the Eclectic and Art Nouveau styles. Among other things, Govaerts created a main hall with a glass cupola which floods the interior with daylight. On the upper floors are lavish offices in the Louis XVI and Neo-Renaissance styles.
