Behind one of the rare 18th century rococo facades in Brussels lies a building with a varied history. Originally a private mansion, it was transformed into a hotel in the 19th century, the Hôtel de la Poste, before being converted in the early 20th century to become a bank called Le Crédit du Nord Belge. In fact, the neighbourhood was home to several financial institutions. Later, the building was transformed into a trendy brasserie, the Belga Queen, which is still the name of the establishment. The visit will allow you to discover an Empire-style staircase, a Beaux-Arts main hall topped by a spectacular glass roof, and a basement vault containing many secrets.
