This private residence on the Avenue Princesse Elisabeth was the home of the architect Franz (or François) Hemelsoet. Completed in 1902, its distinctive façade combines Neo-Renaissance and Art Nouveau architectural features. In particular, the house has a remarkable Art Nouveau glass and wrought-iron front door, originally decorated with stained-glass panels featuring iris plants and handles in the shape of lizards. The reception rooms include a Flemish Neo-Renaissance dining room and a Louis XVI salon, divided by a timber arcade. The rear of the floor is covered by a semi-circular veranda.
